Terms of outgoing transfers in foreign currency for individual clients

From April 3, 2023, the conditions for outgoing foreign currency transfers for individuals will change.

Outgoing transfers in U. S. Dollars to other banks will only be available to customers with packages «Premium» or «Premium 5», activated up to February 28, 2023 inclusive, as well as to clients of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen. Transfers in other foreign currencies are available to all customers, subject to the established limits.

Also from April 3, the minimum amount for each transfer to other banks in U. S. Dollars and Euros will be 20,000 in the currency of the transfer. These conditions apply to transfers both via Raiffeisen Online and at bank branches.

In other foreign currencies the minimum amounts of each transfer remain the same:

• 10,000 GBP / CHF
• 70,000 CNY
• 1,000,000 JPY

The measures are necessary in order not to exceed the limits on the number of such payments set by correspondent banks amid increasing demands on verification and payment procedures.

Please note that the fee for currency transfers is now fixed at 300 USD/Euro or the equivalent for other currencies. Clients of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen may clarify the commission amount with a personal manager.
