Temporary suspension of acceptance of US dollars and euros at the bank’s cash desks

As of August 1, 2023, Raiffeisen Bank temporarily suspended the acceptance and purchase of cash foreign currency from individual customers.

The decision is due to the need to effectively manage the bank’s foreign exchange position. When the situation changes, we will return this option. Market conditions are constantly changing, and in this situation our main priorities are reliability and protection of clients' interests.

Foreign exchange transfers and conversion of rubles into foreign currencies are still available in Raiffeisen Online mobile application and online bank. Rubles can be deposited at ATMs and cash desks. Depositing at ATMs is instant and free of charge. From August 1, the fee for depositing rubles to ruble accounts will increase in branches. For the amount of up to 200,000 — 1% commission, minimum 300 rubles, the amount of more can be deposited without commission. When depositing rubles to a foreign currency account, no commission is charged, conversion is carried out at the bank’s internal rate.
