Raiffeisenbank’s client take out 87% of loans online

In May, the share of consumer loans issued in Raiffeisen-Online reached 87%, exceeding the figures for the same period in 2019 by more than twice. In in the conditions of self-isolation, Raiffeisenbank has ensured full availability of laon solutions for clients who can receive funds into an account in a very few minutes.

Clients are increasingly choosing digital channels to solve financial tasks, whether opening accounts and deposits, managing a brokerage account, or buying investment products. Since mid-March, Raiffeisenbank has recommended the use of predominantly digital channels in order to reduce health risks to clients and employees in a difficult epidemiological environment.

«Digital lending at Raiffeisenbank is a convenient way to get money from the bank instantly," Vitaly Lavrinets, the Head of Retail Digital Platform Development at Raiffeisenbank, said. «Raiffeisen-Online allows its clients to solve everyday financial tasks simple, convenient and safe, and, thanks to the possibility of remote exchange of documents with the bank, to go all the way from choosing a product to applying for it and its obtaining in a few minutes.»

The service of obtaining a loan without visiting a bank office or meeting with a bank representative has been available at Raiffeisenbank since 2017. Raiffeisenbank previously reported that the share of consumer loans provide online was 55%.
