Seamless integration of the bank’s information systems with the Gosuslugi.ru website will allow the bank’s clients to file applications for consumer loans more quickly and not to provide documents confirming employment and income.
Raiffeisenbank was one of the first banks, which complete integration with the Digital Profile service, available for all users of the Gosuslugi portal as part of the national Digital Economy program. Using a digital profile will allow existing and new bank clients to quickly file applications for consumer loans and not to provide documents confirming employment and income.
How it works
A digital profile allows each Russian citizen to get access to own data management from various sources, including the FIU, Rosreestr, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, etc. Currently, it combines 21 types of data, in the near future their number will increase to 57. As part of the digital profile, a user of the Gosuslug website can give and withdraw consent to the processing of his/her personal data and find out what information state bodies or companies requested about him/her. In the future, the digital profile will become a universal tool for remote interaction with government agencies and companies, as well as allow making transactions and signing documents for employment.
Even now, new and existing clients, when filing an application for a loan on the Raiffeisenbank website, can log in through the Gosuslugi website and share data with the bank — relevant fields will be filled out automatically. At the same time, the client can increase the likelihood of approving the loan by confirming his/her income using an automatically generated statement from the Pension Fund. In future, it will be up to the user to decide which data about him/herself to provide to the bank and which not. In order to use the service, you must have a verified account on the Gosuslugi portal.

Digital Profile and Bank
In order to provide clients with more freedom in choosing methods of logging in and obtaining banking services, Raiffeisenbank has developed a special secure gateway for interacting with Digital Profile services and integrated it into its information systems. The development was carried out with the support of the FinTech Association, which, within the framework of the digital profile team, coordinated the interaction of banks with government agencies involved in the implementation of the project.
«Raiffeisenbank is actively investing in the development of products and services that are available to clients remotely," Nikita Shvetsov, Head of Information Technology at Raiffeisenbank, said. «The project of integration with the Digital Profile is one example of how technology can simplify the financial aspects of life for each of us.»
«FinTech Association is a unique platform for discussion and development of advanced technology in Russia. On its basis, key financial market operators and the Bank of Russia have developed a concept of a digital profile approved at the government level. Convenient, safe and quick data exchange between citizens, the state and business will help transfer more and more services online. FinTech Association as a technological trendsetter in Russia sees great prospects for the development of the Digital Profile project. At the next stage, insurance companies will join it, which will allow their clients to quickly and easily take out third party liability insurance and fully comprehensive insurance policies," Tatyana Zharkova, General Director of FinTech Association, said.
The bank’s plans for the future include expanding the available types of data from the digital profile provided with the consent of the client to get products in all online service channels.
