Euromoney named Raiffeisenbank the best Russian bank

The leading financial magazine Euromoney named Raiffeisenbank the best Russian bank in 2019. The panel of experts of the Euromoney Awards for Excellence noted the bank’s impressive profitability, asset quality unmatched in the sector, and special-purpose investment in technology.

In 2019, Raiffeisenbank expanded the opportunities of communication with clients by implementing the function of exchanging documents with digital signatures, and also simplified the ways of applying for a consumer loan. In June 2020, 76% of all Raiffeisenbank clients receive loans entirely online.

The panel of experts of Awards for Excellence includes renowned editors, journalists and analysts from Euromoney, who consider the bank’s position in the market, market share, key performance indicators, asset growth rates, capital stock, and digital aspects of the bank’s activities. To determine the winner, experts of Euromoney also interviewed other industry representatives around the world.

In March 2020, Raiffeisenbank took first place in the rating of 100 reliable Russian banks 2020 by Forbes, and in June 2020 it was recognized as the most convenient Russian bank according to the American edition of Forbes.
