Raiffeisenbank cuts mortgage interest rates to 9.5%

January 9 2018

Raiffeisenbank cuts mortgage interest rates under «Real Estate Purchase Secured by an Apartment in the Property», «Real Estate Purchase on the Secondary Housing Market» and «Refinancing of Debt on Mortgage Loan of Other Banks» programs1.

Now the single interest rate on them is 9.5%. Under «Real Estate Purchase on the Secondary Housing Market» program, a loan can be provided for up to 30 years with a down payment of 15%. As a down payment, the borrower can use the maternity capital.

«We see an increase in public interest in housing purchase. The secondary real estate market has good potential for further growth, that is why we decided to improve lending conditions under «Real Estate Purchase on the Secondary Housing Market» program," Andrey Morozov, the Head of the Mass Market Management and Loan Product Department at Raiffeisenbank says. «In addition, today the refinancing program is in high demand among borrowers. At Raiffeisenbank, the number of new mortgage refinancing loans is about 50% of all new loans. I am sure that the next improvement in conditions will allow even more clients to profitably solve the housing problem.»
