A new member of the Management Board of Raiffeisen ZentralbankOesterreich AG.

Patrick J.S. Butler has today taken up his position as Member of theBoard of Management of Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich AG(RZB-Austria). He is responsible for the divisions"Global Treasury andMarkets","Investment Banking","Economics and Financial MarketResearch", as well as"Global Financial Institutions and Sovereigns".

Up to now, this experienced banker was in charge of the management ofall market and liquidity risks for the Arab Bank Group. Before his jobat Arab Bank, Butler was Group Treasurer at Bank Austria-Creditanstaltand Global Treasurer at Creditanstalt, for which he previously worked asGeneral Manager of the London branch. Prior to that, he worked forChemical Bank and County Bank (NatWest Group) in London and New York,where he also set up two brokerage companies. The 47-year-old bankerholds a Master of Arts (MA) degree fromOxford University, is married andhas two children.
